Lak’Was Wildfire Water Service LTD. is an Indigenous Owned and Operated Company from Comox, BC, Canada.
We provide professional, reliable, and effective water supply services to wildfire firefighting and structural protection teams. As well as providing direct attack with our tactical water tender.
We were Incorporated in October 2022, and by June 2023 we became fully operational.
Our owners are from the We Wai Kai First Nation on Quadra, Island, BC which is part of the Laich-kwil-tach tribes, and the Kwakwaka’wakw Nations. Our employees are from the We Wai Kai First Nation and from the communities of Campbell River and Comox, BC.
